Steven Zhu Named TASSP All-State Academic Excellence Team (May 16, 2007)

Principal Rick Burnett Congratulates Steven Zhu on honorSteven Zhu, senior at Frisco High School and Valedictorian of the FHS Class of 2007, has been selected by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) as a member of the TASSP All-State Academic Excellence Team.

As a member of the team, Zhu will receive a $500 scholarship and be recognized at the TASSP Summer Workshop in Austin this June.

This award is designed to recognize Texas high school seniors for their outstanding academic achievements and the rewards of superior scholarship.  Students are nominated by their principals based on their SAT scores, academic grade point average, pursuit of advanced diploma, and other evidence of exceptional academic ability. Each student must submit an essay with the application. Out of 200 or more nominations, only 20 are chosen.
