Frisco ISD Students Honored by Frisco Heritage Association (April, 2008)

Lyn Chambers, contest chairman, and Chun Ying Su of StaleyStudents from elementary through high school were honored for their winning entries in the annual Frisco Heritage Association Art and Essay Competition. This year's theme was heritage and students were told their works could either be about Frisco's heritage or their own family heritage. This provided a very international flair to the event with students choosing traditional Texas themes such as railroads and cowboys to art and essays that show the multicultural face of Frisco today. Shown here is Heritage member and contest chairman, Lyn Chambers with Staley Middle School 1st place art winner, Chun Ying Su whose work portrays traditional Asian images.
