Frisco Noon Rotary Honors Seniors (April, 2007)

Rotary HonoreesEach month, the Frisco Noon Rotary Club highlights the achievements of outstanding FISD seniors.

On Thursday, April 5, Rotarians honored Centennial High School seniors Brittany Weaver and Sean Michael. Sean is the son of John Michael and Shea Alexander. He is involved in National Honor Society, Tech Club (president), Business Professionals of America (BPA) and UIL Academic Competition. Sean is a BPA national qualifier and has also placed first in the UTD Computer Science Games competition. He volunteers through Environmental Club and has done computer work for the non-profit group Turning Point. He is the recipient of a full honor scholarship at the University of Texas at Dallas and will double major in computer science and software engineering. He moved here his sophomore year from Plano.

Brittany is the daughter of Glenn and Debora Weaver. She is involved in National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, Varsity Basketball, Yearbook (currently business manager) and German Club. In high school Brittany has received the coaches' award in basketball and has earned Academic All-District recognition. She also volunteers with the Frisco Miracle League as a buddy. Brittany will attend Texas A&M University and has been accepted into the Mays Business School where she will major in Business Administration. She moved to FISD two years ago from Germany.
