Frisco High School Science Teacher to Present at National Science Teacher Convention
(February, 2006)

Heather Marshall, science teacher at Frisco High School, has been awarded the Outstanding Earth Science Teacher for the Texas Section of the National Association of Geoscience Teachers (NAGT). The association has asked her to present at the National Science Teacher Convention in Anaheim, California, in April.

Marshall’s presentation will be a sample of what she teaches in her classes covering geology, meteorology, oceanography and astronomy. She will also assist with a NAGT booth.

“I believe her attendance will benefit Ms. Marshall, as well as her students and our district,” FHS Principal Rick Burnett said.
