Third grade Biography day at Curtsinger Elementary (November, 2006)

Bio Day at CurtsingerThe third grade class was dressed in some amazing costumes on October 31st. They were not dressed up for a holiday party. These third grade children looked just like another person, a person from their biography report. After reading a biography book from the Curtsinger library, the children took part in a “who am I?” speech. The audience, comprised of parents, Curtsinger staff and other students, had to guess who each character was after hearing three clues. Reid Buehler, from Ms. Ledbetter’s third grade class, had this to say about the biography reports at Curtsinger, “I loved going up on stage and telling everybody about my report.” The laughter and smiles from the audience proved that these reports are fun and a great learning experience for these third graders.
