Donation to FISD Early Childhood Program (March, 2005)

Nick and Jill Graff recently donated $1,800 to the FISD through the Frisco Education Foundation in order to enhance the educational experience of the district's youngest students.

Nick and Jill formed the Davis Graff Memorial Trust Fund (DGMTF) to honor their son, Davis Alexander Graff, who died May 23, 2002 at the age of five months, due to congenital heart and lung complications. His courage, charisma, spirit and love inspired the creation of this Memorial Charity, which will benefit hundreds and hopefully soon, thousands of children.

Please visit their website to learn more about the Fund and the organizations who benefit from their generosity. Their nextfundraising golf tournament is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 10, at the Trails of Frisco.

Alicia Richmond, FISD Director of Special Programs, is shown in the photo accepting the donation from Mr. Graff. The funds will be used to create a mural in the entry of the Acker Elementary Special Programs School that will celebrate children, along with the diversity and heritage of our community. Acker is home to FISD's Head Start program and the Pre-School Program for Children with Disabilities.
