On Saturday Jan 21, the Frisco High School Chapter of Business Professionals of America competed at their regional conference.

Tricia Francisco was awarded a scholarship for her BPA efforts over the past 2 years.

The following students placed high enough to be a state qualifier:

• Will Gough placed 1st in Fundamental Accounting
• Samantha Tionloc placed 2nd in Desktop Publishing
• Hunter Chitwood placed 2nd in Graphic Design
• Parker Manns placed 3rd in CISCO
• Parker Manns, Davor Seferovic, and James Robinson placed 2nd in Network Design Team

The following students placed high enough to be a state alternate and could be called up to attend state at any time:

• RJ Bennett placed 4th in Integrated Office Applications
• Davor Seferovic placed 4th in Computer Network Technology and has been called up to State
• Jeff Chein placed 5th in Payroll Accounting
• Victoria Gomez placed 5th in Digital Media Production and has been called up to State
• Jasmyne Curry placed 6th in Legal Office Procedures
• Victoria Gomez, Nicole Akinseye, Kierstyn Barnes, and Krittika Thakuria placed 3rd in Presentation Management Team
• Jasmyne Curry, Jeff Chein, Mayak Arora, and Tricia Francisco placed 5th in Small Business Management Team
