"We are lucky here in Frisco to have a community that supports education, which makes our job as a school board that much easier. I hope we can continue to serve the needs of all the children in FISD in ways that allow them to reach their own potential. I look forward to serving as Trustee and building upon the successes of the district in offering unsurpassed educational opportunities for our kids.”

• Family: wife, Julia; three children, Nathan, Catharine, and Stephanie, who are all FISD graduates.
• Education: Graduate of Western Michigan University with a degree in finance.
• Profession: He is Director of Sales Finance for Siemens.
• Community Involvement: Has been involved in many FISD organizations including the Frisco Education Foundation and FHS Band Boosters. He is treasurer of the Frisco Community Development Corporation and is a lifetime member of the Heritage Association.

Brenda Polk - Place 1

• Family: husband, Jeff; twin daughters, Katelyn and Morgan, who are both FISD graduates and currently attend Texas A&M University
• Education: Graduate of St. Ambrose University
• Profession: Community volunteer
• Community/School Involvement: Served on the 2003 FISD Citizen's Bond Committee, served as president of the Anderson PTA, the Frisco Council of PTAs and the Clark Middle School PTO
• FISD Board Service: First elected in 2005 and served two terms; served as board secretary for two years. Was re-elected in 2012 to a one-year, unexpired term created when Laura Ellison had to vacate her seat to relocate with her family to Utah due to a career opportunity.
