No, a copy of your transcripts is sufficient.
I have already registered to apply online, but my log-in credentials are not working. What should I do?
Your username is the complete email address you entered to register. The username and password are both case-sensitive. Please contact
Susan Dye HR_Prof@friscoisd.org for further assistance.
Can I email or fax my resume, copy of certification and copy of transcripts?
It is most beneficial for you to attach the requested documents to your online application to be available for HR services staff and administrators to review online for open positions. If you are unable to attach your documentation to your online application, you are welcome to email your attachments to HR_Prof@friscoisd.org, fax them to 469-633-6001 or mail them to Frisco ISD Human Resources 6942 Maple Street Frisco, TX 75034. Unfortunately, we do not upload attachments to the online applications, but we will keep the hardcopies on file in the HR department for 1 year. Due to high volume of paperwork, after one year the hardcopy documentation will be archived. If you would like it to remain active please contact the HR department HR_Prof@friscoisd.org to let them know.
How can I schedule an interview with HR?
Human Resources does not conduct central office interviews for teaching positions. Interviews are conducted at the campus level.
If I apply for a substitute position, do I have to fill out another application for a full-time teaching position?
Yes. They are two separate offices with separate applications. Substitute files must be available to be accessed on a daily basis. The full-time teaching applications must be kept on file for any principals to review when an opening occurs.
Do I have to be certified to teach?
Frisco ISD requires that all teaching and substitute teaching applicants have a valid teaching Texas teaching certificate. For more information on becoming certified to teach in Texas, please contact the State Board of Educator Certification (SBEC) at 512-936-8400 or www.sbec.state.tx.us.
