Empowering K-12 Teachers & Students for 21st Century Learning
Who?
- Each school has a Technology Integration Facilitator, a certified teacher, who provides campus staff development, helps write technology integration curriculum, and assists with technical support.
- Each campus also has a full-time Technology Integration Specialist who assists in the planning and integration of technology and serves as the first level of technical support.
How?
- The Technology Integration Facilitators and Specialists partner with teachers via job embedded modeling during a routine school day. This allows us to show teachers how to integrate technology as a learning tool into the core curriculum for all students.
When?
- Each school is equipped with at least one technology integration lab to be used during the school day. The Facilitators and Specialists work with teachers and their students on an ongoing basis throughout the year, modeling and providing relevant, practical demonstrations.
- The Facilitator at each campus offers workshops throughout the year to provide just-in-time training based on instructional needs.
- During summer district professional development, the Facilitators from all campuses teach a variety of classes supporting 21st Century Skills.
