Fundraising/Charitable Efforts

Fundraising opportunities that a business would like to make available to schools can be distributed through the Communications Office. Following District guidelines, individual schools and PTAs make decisions regarding fundraising efforts for school benefit or for a charitable endeavor.

During the school year, our district and schools participate in many community and charitable endeavors. Not all schools promote all of the activities, but below is a guide so that parents can plan for those events and efforts in which they would like to participate.

Each school has a two-week assigned period for a food drive to benefit the food pantry at Frisco Family Services. Most schools also have a receptacle for shoes to be given to the Shoe Bank. Recycling receptacles are also available for plastic bags, batteries, along with items used at school. In addition to the below opportunities, each school can pick another charitable endeavor to participate in each year that has particular meaning to the students and staff.
