The Liberty Redhawks and Heritage Coyotes will be “in the pink” on October 1, according to Michelle Roach, Liberty High School student council sponsor.

The two schools student councils have joined together to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The two schools will host a Pink Out at their October 1 game at Pizza Hut Park. Students will have an opportunity to buy t-shirts sporting the motto “Two Teams – One Cause” and the teams will wear pink ribbon awareness decals on their helmets. The team cheerleaders will have pink poms and other pink accessories will add to the pink theme of the game.
