Work Schedule

Should an employee leave during the year, payroll and human resources utilize these dates to determine a payoff and days for creditable service for TRS. You do have discretion to adjust the days of those you supervise to meet a specific need you might have. If you are adjusting start/stop dates, please notify Melissa Reames and Sharon Griffin in writing of the employee and the new start date. If your office/department is one that stays open during the summer months, please work with your employees to stagger their time off so that vacation days are used prior to the official start date.

Professional employees working a 200+ day calendar are to take vacation days during the summer months between school calendar years. Days taken during the 187 professional duty calendar for teachers may not be vacation days and must be personal days. Any exceptions must be approved at the appropriate Instructional Support Team level.
