The District Improvement Team shall advise the Board or it’s designee in establishing and reviewing the District’s educational goals, objectives, and major districtwide classroom instructional programs identified to enhance the learning environment for FISD. The committee shall serve exclusively in an advisory capacity.

Meeting/Time Commitment
Approximately 4-6 meetings per year/ 1 to 1.5 hours each meeting after school hours.
Term Limits
A minimum of 2 year terms.
Appointment Timeframe
Appointments are made yearly at the beginning of each school year following the committee application deadline at midnight on August 31.
