Frisco ISD’s District Advisory Council (DAC) has been established to serve in an advisory capacity to Frisco ISD leadership.
Committee Purpose
The DAC is designed to provide an opportunity for Frisco ISD stakeholders, including staff, parents, and taxpayers to remain continually engaged with the District and to ensure that District initiatives are developed and implemented with feedback from the community.
Committee Membership
The DAC consists of one staff representative from each campus and an equal number of non-staff members from throughout Frisco ISD.

One staff member per campus - Application and selection by district administration

Non-staff members - Application, recommendation by district administration, and approval by the FISD Board of Trustees
Meeting/Time Commitment
The DAC meets 3 times per year as a full council. In addition, each member will serve on a standing committee. Each standing committee will hold additional meetings throughout the year.
Term Limits
Members serve one-year terms and may serve up to three consecutive terms.
Appointment Timeframe
Appointments are made yearly at the beginning of each school year following the committee application deadline at midnight on August 31. Individual seats that have been vacated may be filled throughout the year.
