Frisco ISD has more than 4,700 employees making it one of the largest single employers in the area. Approximately 350 new positions were added for the 2009-2010 school year to meet the growth in the district. Of the 4,700 plus employees, more than 2,400 are teachers. Twenty percent of our staff members have advanced degrees. The average years of teaching experience is 7.9 years, and 52.9% have six or more years experience.
