General Endowment Fund

Any amount may be contributed to the Endowment Fund. These dollars help perpetuate the foundation’s mission to provide student scholarships and grants for FISD educators to enhance the learning environment.

Scholarship Sponsorship

Endowed Scholarships

• A $20,000 minimum donation establishes an Endowed Scholarship awarding $1,000 annually. 

• A minimum donation of $10,000 establishes an Endowed Scholarship awarding a $500 scholarship annually. 

Memorial/Honor Scholarships

• $500 or greater creates a named scholarship in memory or honor of the person or company specified in the donation.

FEF Matching Scholarships

• A $1,000 commitment is matched by the foundation or another donor for a two-year scholarship totaling $2,000.

Criteria for scholarship recipient are set by the donor.

Scholarships are awarded at Scholarship Night each spring to deserving graduating FISD seniors.

Event Sponsorship

The Foundation hosts fundraisers and events throughout the year including:

Gary Burns Frisco Fun Run at Frisco Square: 5k Run, 1mile Fun Run/Walk held each fall. This widely anticipated event is host to over 4,000 participants both serious and fun alike.

Annual Chili Challenge is held each fall promoting spirit and competition within the community and FISD.
