The following documentation is required for enrollment in Frisco ISD: Copies of this information must remain in the student file.
1. Birth Certificate (or passport)
2. Social Security Card
3. Immunization Records
4. Proof of Residence (utility bill, lease agreement, contract of sale or closing papers)
5. Drivers License of person completing enrollment (per Senate Bill 1432)
6. Last Report Card

Elementary (PK/K- 5th grade) School Enrollment
Prekindergarten | Spanish
The District offers free pre-kindergarten classes for eligible students. A child is eligible for enrollment if he/she is at least four years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2008 and is unable to speak or comprehend English or is educationally disadvantaged based on income. Kindergarten Qualifications
A student is able to attend our full-day kindergarten program if they are five years of age or older on or before September 1 of the school year.

Entering First Grade
A child may be enrolled in the first grade if he/she is at least six years of age at the beginning of the current school year or has been enrolled in the first grade, or completed kindergarten, in the public school of another state prior to transferring to the District. An underage student may enroll in first grade if he/she passes Kindergarten Acceleration testing. To be eligible for kindergarten acceleration in Frisco ISD a child must be six years of age on or before December 31. For more information please contact the counselor at the elementary school your child will be attending.

New Elementary Students
Welcome to Frisco ISD! New student enrollment will be held on your school campus during the first week of August. Please review the registration checklist and gather the required information for enrollment.The registration checklist is available in the forms library.
Elementary Credit by Exam Testing
The purpose of the Credit by Examination for Advancement Program is to allow students to advance in grade level. State law requires school districts to provide this opportunity to students. For more information, parents should contact the counselor at the elementary school their child attends.
