What brought me to Frisco

My mom moved to Frisco in 1994 while I was finishing up college at Texas A&M. This community felt like home from the first time I came here 22 years ago.

What I like most about my job

Without a doubt, the people I get to work with--they are as good as it gets. I also love that technology is always changing and creating more and more neat learning opportunities for kids, teachers, parents....and me!

Work Experience

After teaching high school business and technology classes for four years in Houston, I moved to Lewisville and taught for one year in 1996. While there, I learned of an opening to teach technology in Frisco ISD. I loved the town and the people, and began working with the instructional technology department at its inception. It has been really exciting watching the district and department grow. It has been an amazing opportunity to be a part of it all.

What brought me to Frisco

I was offered a teaching and coaching position at Centennial High School in 2004 which was the second year Centennial was open. My wife is also a teacher in Frisco ISD and joined Ashley Elementary in 2005. We have enjoyed being part of the of the Frisco ISD family and watching the District transform and grow.

What brought me to Frisco

I arrived in Frisco to work for Superintendent Justin Wakeland in 1981. I was originally hired as the Community Education Director.
