Sparks Wins Third Place and $1000 in Scholastic Book Fair Theme Contest (May, 2008)
Sparks recently received $1,000 for placing third in a national contest sponsored by Scholastic Books. Sparks won for its "cool" book blizzard book fair theme. PTA volunteers and librarian Michelle Dodsworth worked together to decorate the school and library and build interest in the book fair.
